Pride Month 2025: Seven Grant on the Cover of Moll Magazine South Africa

Seven Grant:
Looking back, the pandemic of August 2020 changed our lives colossally. It reshaped the modeling industry, disrupted careers, and imposed harsh travel restrictions. But as I promised back then—I would return when the time felt right. And this is that moment.

With the evolving discourse on gender identity—like the U.S. gender passport marker and the UK’s troubling ruling that labels trans women as men—I felt compelled to reconnect. After years immersed in veterinary studies and exploring a holistic approach to wellness, my soul called me back—not just to the spotlight, but to my purpose.

It runs in my veins—to rise above, to embody resilience, and to unfurl my pride wings alongside my sisters and allies. This return isn’t just a comeback—it feels redivivus, a rebirth. I’m here to celebrate womanhood in all its glorious forms and to stand as living proof that authenticity is power.

I’m Seven Grant—a sui generis force, forged by grit, research, and reinvention; model, healer, and soon-to-be star in the upcoming trilogy film directed by Bruno Pischutta. I glow not just from what I wear but from what I withstand—each Icarian plunge burnishes my wings, proving that resilience is my runway. What sets me apart? I don’t just walk into rooms—I rewrite the script, where authenticity outshines algorithms and destiny bows to determination.

Rise Above & Express Yourself
I’ve thrown myself to the vultures, swum with sharks, and worn the scars of navigating a male-dominated world—from the convoluted politics of dating to the veiled exploitation in the film industry. I walked away from three films when I saw recurring patterns—a nest of transactional power plays disguised as opportunity. I refused to partake in the casting-couch culture and even filed an FIR back in Mumbai. The whispers flew faster than justice, and doors that once opened with a smile slammed shut with silence.
I was made to feel I had lost my chance at stardom. Then the pandemic hit, and nearly six years slipped into an unplanned hiatus—stagnant years, but not wasted. I used that time to recalibrate, reclaim, and root myself deeply in knowledge, wellness, and self-respect.
To rise above isn’t just poetic—it’s a personal rebellion. I’m clawing my way out of a quagmire, not to beg for validation, but to reclaim what I was born with: the right to express myself without compromise. Impostor syndrome must be uprooted, not managed. Only by uprooting it entirely can I fully embody who I am—with the armor of lived experience, the weapon of wisdom, and the fire of authenticity.
This Pride Month, I don’t just stand in solidarity—I stand in sovereignty.

The Duality of Power
My hidden superpower is duality—the seamless fusion of power and beauty, resilience and softness, intellect and instinct. That power is etched into my skin, tattooed in Japanese on my back—a quiet reminder of surviving not once, but four times, when life nearly slipped through my fingers. Those near-death moments didn’t weaken me—they awakened me.
They say I’m “an entitled man,” but what they fail to grasp is that I operate with both the male and female brain—fluid, strategic, intuitive. I move through the world unbound by binary thinking. To embrace who I am without apology, to understand the human spiral from the inside out, and to rise again and again—that’s not just survival. That’s my superpower.

Trans Inclusion: Sports | Pageantry | Public Life
In Sports
I’ve always valued reason and rationality. Initially, I questioned trans women competing in women’s sports—not out of bias, but to preserve fairness. Over time, through reflection and study, I realized the question isn’t “who should compete?” but “how do we define fairness?”
We can classify athletes by physical criteria—strength, speed, weight, endurance—just as we do in combat sports and the Paralympics. This honors diversity without compromising fairness. In chess or e-sports, where biology doesn’t factor, there’s no need for gender separation.
In Pageantry
Pageantry celebrates beauty, confidence, and culture. Platforms like Miss Universe now welcoming trans women is historic. But fairness still matters. I envision dedicated spaces where trans women’s stories and grace are celebrated uniquely, without comparison or controversy.
In Public Life
Trans inclusion is non-negotiable. Public freedom comes with complexity: law, structure, and fairness must protect all identities. Women’s rights and trans rights can coexist if systems are thoughtfully designed to honor ability, integrity, and contribution, not just labels.

Final Word
Inclusion doesn’t mean erasure. Fairness doesn’t require exclusion. The future isn’t about choosing sides—it’s about choosing wisdom.

A Sneak Peek into The Trilogy
“There’s no turning back when you’re part of something that dares to unmask the soul of society.”
I’m honored to join The Trilogy, directed by Bruno Pischutta, a cinematic phenomenon shot across London and Northern Greece. Spanning 400 minutes, 113 scenes, 70 international actors, and 1,500 extras, it’s bold, unapologetic storytelling. This isn’t just a film—it’s a movement, confronting controversial truths with artistry and humanity.
My role? I don’t just step into scenes—I explode into them. Stay tuned for 2026.
